So one of my cousin took admission in this college called Deviprasad Goenka which the faculties of the self said college is the 4th best emerging college in India. I asked him is it really the case? . I was in a awe shock when he told me that this college is the worst he has ever been to.He goes on by saying "For a College that teaches Management course this college gives the experience of biggest mismanagement which they create themselves". The things he told me struck me in a negative way cause he never had any problems with his previous colleges or his school even though he hated going to both of these places.
Adding further things, my cousin told me they had a big conference room where they took our lectures. It was comforting and the students were in love with the college by then.Later on, the students came to know the conference room were not at all DGMCMS's property and the students had to leave the conference room and the faculties made them sit in a audio studio which was as small as a kitchen would be. that the fees used to be Rupees 96,000 which as per a private MBA course is acceptable. My Cousin's mom was well informed that this is the subtotal of everything they provide us with. Later on after first semester they added up service tax and which went up to 1 lakh 5 thousand something. So as to not make it a bigger issue my fellow cousin had to agree and pay it up. Next problem was that the students were facing problems of lectures and their uneven timings. One of the students stayed at Panvel which is in Navi Mumbai and he had to travel for 2 hours to reach the college (Malad,Mumbai). The unfortunate thing for him was whenever he left for college he used to get the message that there is no lectures today. Then Problems arrived like delay in results,Subjects for 2nd semester were to be prepared in first semester and subjects of fourth semester in 2nd sem, If delayed in paying up the fees the faculty would threaten and the main problem is that it is focusing mainly on money and not education.
For a College which looks totally cool, let me assure you guys it is not at all. Never Judge the book by its cover- This is what my cousin learned from the college.
P.S
I went to the official page http://dgmcms.org.in/web/index.html to submit the feedback but it doesn't accept negative review i guess.
